Debbie Greenberg is a Program Analyst in the Behavioral Research Program’s Office of the Associate Director. She provides grant support and portfolio analysis for the Basic and Biobehavioral Research and Health Communication and Informatics Research Branches. Ms. Greenberg’s professional interests are database systems and data mining with an emphasis on information analysis. She started her NIH career with the National Institute of General Medical Sciences in the Division of Pharmacology, Physiology and Biological Chemistry and then went on to work for the National Cancer Institute’s Office of the Associate Director for Intramural Research. Ms. Greenberg graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Business and from the University College of the University of Maryland with a Master of Science also in Business.
Debbie Greenberg returns to the National Cancer Institute after several years of owning her own business. She was formerly a Program Analyst responsible for administrative special projects management in the Office of the Associate Director for Intramural Research, Office of the Director, NCI. Her main focus in that position was managing all phases of the development and implementation of new database systems including writing the user manual, designing training modules and providing ongoing technical user support.
Debbie grew up as a third generation Washingtonian! She received both her Bachelor and Masters degrees from the University of Maryland. As a Program Analyst in the Office of the Associate Director, Debbie provides guidance on grants policy, portfolio management and administrative procedures for the Behavioral Research Program and Office of the Associate Director, DCCPS.
