Background
The Basic Behavioral and Social Science Opportunity Network (OppNet) is a trans-NIH initiative to expand funding of basic behavioral and social sciences research (b-BSSR). Basic-BSSR furthers our understanding of fundamental mechanisms and patterns of behavioral and social functioning, relevant to the Nation’s health and well-being, as they interact with each other, with biology and the environment.
