The Multimedia Technology Health Communication SBIR/STTR Program

Research Focus

Because DCCPS is interested in applications that produce models, programs, systems, interventions, and/or products that promote long-term lifestyle changes that reduce cancer risk or increase the quality of life, this program encourages products for 1) children and adults, 2) culturally and economically diverse populations, 3) low literacy populations, 4) rural populations, 5) the physically challenged, 6) the elderly, and 7) cancer survivors that are suitable for a variety of community locations. Such locations include health and medical facilities, work sites, schools, state/local health departments, homes, restaurants, spas, churches, barber shops, supermarkets, remote areas, cancer centers and oncology programs.
