The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the conceptual aspects and the practical application of "real-time" methodology and associated technology to physical activity and nutrition research. Accordingly, this conference brought together nationally recognized content experts in the fields of physical activity, nutrition, technology, and research methodology to discuss these issues.
